Perth Cheap Movers

We booked them to move out 5x2 house. The team arrived on time and ready to go. They even provided an extra person on the day than we had planned at no extra charge. The whole team was polite, professional, and worked well with us the clear our house out as quickly and carefully as possible.On the other end they did a great job at unpacking heavy items and taking things upstairs.Would highly recommend them.

Hi guys. I just thought I'd take the time to say thanks for the amazing job ET and Gino did with our move. It was a big one, and we were moving into a two storey house. The guys were incredible - strong like Hercules, but gentle and careful too! I couldn't believe what they could lift, and nothing was even scratched. Both guys worked super hard and fast and got the job done as fast as it was likely to be done. I would strongly recommend both guys and the company generally. Thanks again! Ben.

Used these guys in September, were really good however think i got over charged for the job but was happy, so rebooked last month - the whole thing was a disaster, i spoke with the manager who i would never give any business to again, no idea how to deal with the public. Only saving grace was one of the guys they sent, the other one did nothing. Its a shame as i wouldnt use again and would advise to go elsewhere

BEWARE: Careless & Dishonest!I would warn anyone against using Perth Cheap Movers.We paid $500 for 5 hours of moving – 2 loads to a new house approx. 4km away.The job started OK but it quickly became apparent that one of the guys was very careless, despite me making it clear at the start of the job that my priority was taking care to avoid damage over speed.Our furniture got damaged through pure carelessness. I was present when the some of the early damage took place, and despite me making my displeasure clear, the carelessness continued. The most costly damage was to a 3m long custom made walnut double-desk which was put on a small uncovered dolly (without any protection), carelessly pushed around dragging the ends on the ground, which then suffered further damage in the truck due to improper protection and other things pushed up against it and sat on top. It wasn’t just one bit of damage, it ended up with scratches and dents all over the top and legs – as did several other bits of furniture like leather chairs, all of which was in pristine condition before the move. I have personally moved the same furniture myself without any damage, the one guy simply rushed and didn’t take care.I can accept that minor damage occurs during moves, it’s hard to avoid, but in this case the damage was over the top. Worse, the movers, admin person and owner all engaged in dishonest conduct by initially reassuring me that the damage would be addressed. We agreed to pay in full for the move, despite the obviously serious damage incurred, on the basis that the ‘boss would take care of it’. The mover tried to contact the boss to explain the damage situation prior to leaving but he wasn’t answering his phone. I spoke to the female admin person on the phone straight away though, who was very reassuring, she advised me to put together an email containing pictures of the damage. I did this, and for the next 3 weeks spoke to her regularly, initially ensuring the photos had been received, then checking the status of the issue. We were initially confident about some kind of resolution since we were always reassured ‘the boss’ just had to review the photos of the damage and discuss the damage with the employee, but after a week it became clear we were just getting the runaround and no one ever called us back. Soon my phone calls stopped being answered and were only answered when I turned caller ID off.I eventually spoke to the boss after around 4 weeks, several times, he just came up with various lame excuses like he couldn’t find the photos, hadn’t spoken to the employee, expected the employee to pay for the damage, etc etc. He kept on telling me he’d call back but never did. This all just caused us a lot of stress, wasted time and energy.5 weeks later it’s clear they are a dishonest and careless bunch with no insurance or responsibility. We should not have paid for the service at the time, we stupidly trusted their word that the damage would be addressed. Avoid these movers at all costs.

We moved house this week but unfortunately it was not good service and not happy at all. These guys been rude and aggressive. They damaged walls and the frame. Also at the beginning when we called to check everything before we confirm.. the operator lady did not mention anything regarding the deportation fees which is an hour extra fees even if it is just 5 minutes drive. That’s mean 2 hours of total works including driving time, they will be 3 hours of charge .

Terrible experience, rude and aggressive man. Never turned up after a week of booking!

- reviews looked good but just keep in mind that most of the better ones are from two years ago and that’s what I wish I paid attention to before booking with them.- one of the movers threatened to leave stuff outside the building when asked to take detour route when moving stuff to truck- damaged stuff -> that’s when the owner explained the insurance properly to me. It’s basically an insurance in case they get into a car accident. It doesn’t cover for any of the goods damaged during the actual move.- had quite a break (20 min) when departing to final destination. Movers did not bother to offer to take that time off. And I can’t be bothered to argue over this because of the first point - just wanted to get it over with honestly- also one bed one bathroom unit that is moderately furnished and pre-packed costed nearly $700. I wish I had booked with a company with actual insurance and charge a higher hourly rate because it would end up being the same cost anyway.

Excellent service!!! Gino and Darren are LEGENDS !! They made a potentially stressful day EASY. They complimented us on our packing and preparedness which was lovely. Great guys and a great team together. 5 stars

DO NOT USE PERTH CHEAP MOVERS.The men that did my move were aggressive, filthy, they stank, and their language was absolutely appalling and completely unacceptable. They swore loudly every time they lifted a piece of furniture or a box, regardless the size or weight. Their attitude was revolting and their behaviour was intimidating. They didn’t bother to introduce themselves. They were foul mouthed, rude and intimidating.I was gouged for price. I was charge for 3.5 hours. When I challenged this saying they’d spent less than two hours on the move they said the balance of the time was for travel. 110 minutes of travel!! Notwithstanding that PCM only operate in the metro area!! I was too intimidated to challenge further.I was expecting 2 men as confirmed in email and on the phone. Three men showed up and I was made to sign off on being charged an extra $30 for the extra man. They gave me no choice in the matter.The men did not bring any tools despite confirming with the depot lady the day before that tools would be required. They hadn’t even brought any tape to tape drawers closed. They asked me for tape and for tools. They were totally and utterly unprepared. One of the guys, the leader, appeared to know what he was doing but the other two appeared to have absolutely no idea what they were doing. They appeared to be totally unskilled.They were careless with my furniture and belongings and showed no respect whatsoever; including that they dumped things from height, they didn’t ask where I wanted furniture, they just put it wherever.PCM have refused to reimburse me. I am in the process of reporting them to the consumer watchdog.

We moved from an apartment in the 4th floor and the service and resourcefulness of both Gino and Darren was incredible. Very gentle with our boxes and furniture. Fast and efficient would definitely recommend to anyone considering a trustworthy removalist in Perth!
