Kent Removals & Storage Perth

Charged my inlaws $800 for one truck move. The truck took 2hrs from departure at Gosnells to Morley. Something dodgy going on here. Avoid these guys, they are scammers. Damaged goods also

Recently transferred boxes interstate with Kent Removals and were delighted with their services. Very helpful, polite and professional staff at each stage of the process.

We used Kent to store and then ship our goods internationally. They were exceptionally poor - they lied to us: we asked for items to be removed from the shipment, they assured us they were removed but they were not.Communication was terrible, they did not provide updates unless I emailed 2-3 times, and given the process took over 6 months with many delays, this made it very stressful and there was no empathy from the customer service.To top it off, the packing was not done to any reasonable standard (glassware packed under heavy items; table legs not removed, furniture screws packed into random boxes etc) causing many many items to be damaged. The people who unpacked the goods said it was the worst job they have ever seen.Kent do not seem to be an organised or coherent organisation with robust processes, look elsewhere for a removalist company.

We used Kent to relocate from Brisbane to Perth. We paid upfront over 20K AUD. Unbeknown to us our belongings were split into two shipments so we had to wait a couple of extra weeks, once we had moved in, for many of our items to show up. The removalists broke a new $800 TV, once excess is paid plus the fee to have to someone say it was broken we were left with $300.

We just moved from Perth to Adelaide and or very disappointed with the service, one lady who started and helped us with the starting process was amazing but for the rest, RUBBISH! On arrival our recently new leather sofa is damaged, my husband's drop saw is broken and unrepairable, 2 wardrobes drawers broken, desk broken scratches on different items and we took insurance but now we have to go through a lot of trouble to get insurance back while we try hard to start a new life. Not impressed at all. Be warned do not use Kent!

Hands down the best removalist experience I've ever had in my life (and I've moved a lot). Super friendly, super professional, on time and the price was so much cheaper than any of the competition. Would highly recommend and in the future I will always use Kent. I don't usually go to the effort of writing reviews, but this is extremely warranted because this was the most stressful time in my life and all the staff made everything so pleasant and easy and I'm truly grateful. Thank you!

Oh boy, where do I begin.I moved from Melbourne to Perth and had Kent transport my furniture, car and I opted for the service where they find you a rental.Let's start with the furniture move:The removalists on the Melbourne side broke the outside light fixture while carrying some furniture. They took photos and said Kent would deal with it. They didn't. I had to constantly follow up to have it fixed, eventually, someone contacted me asking me organise the fix myself, and then send through the costs. But I'd already moved (why stay in a house with no furniture!), so suggested they organise the fix themselves and deal with the real estate agent directly. They didn't. I didn't even get a response on a follow up.On the Perth side, furniture delivery day, one of the removalists didn't show up. So there was one worker and myself. Obviously, I had to help or have no furniture. Ugh. After finishing, I noticed a piece of the couch was missing, so contacted Kent again, and after following up because of no response (seeing a trend here?) they told me to make an insurance claim which I sent off. As usual, no response or confirmation from the insurance team. I still haven't had any compensation, and an expensive couch has been ruined.The car move:Perfect! Car arrived in a couple of weeks and was well looked after. Note that Kent nearly messed up the pickup location. The mover was CEVA and they were great. Recommended.The rental search:I had two requirements, close to the cbd and unfurnished.And of course, on upon collecting the keys I was informed it was partially furnished. So plenty of my furniture went into storage.The place is nice though.This 'organisation' is the worst.They NEVER show any initiative and only respond when hounded.Use someone else.

We had 8 items moved from Sydney to Perth. 4 out of 8 were broken. Phoned appropriate people and only got voice messages. I cannot tell you how traumatising this is...insurance will not cover my devastation

Terrible terrible experience.They were 3 hours late. Kept lying about the time they would arrive and then sent to truck that was too small to try to get more money.Couldn’t get any answers on the phone either.They say they pride themselves on service and making the experience stress free, however it was terrible service and very stressful because of Kent. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this company at all cost.

I have moved many times both internationally thrice and interstate at least 5 times. This could be the best move yet (QLD->WA) with no breakages and competitive pricing. Kent even arranged best quote for vehicle transport and handled everything, car was delayed, and logistics company hired us a vehicle. Overall, everything went smoothly, and I will definitely call Kent if we move again. Only feedback is during quote, pictures were meant to be in picture boxes. On day, std moving box was used flat with paper inside and taped to fit tightly against picture frame. This caused slight damage to print on corners, next time I will pack pictures, but this is minor.
